Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about taxi transfers to Ben Gurion Airport — pricing, payment, vehicles, and more.
💰 Pricing & Payment
How much does a taxi from Tel Aviv to TLV cost?
A fixed ₪150 for a standard sedan (1-3 passengers) during daytime. Other cities have different fixed prices — see our pricing pages. Night (21:00-05:30) and Shabbat/holiday surcharges: +25%.
How do I pay?
Three options for private rides: Cash (no surcharge), Bit (+₪20 flat fee), Paybox. Credit cards are NOT accepted for private rides — only for business clients with invoice billing.
Is the price really fixed? No meter?
Yes — we quote you a fixed price before you book, and that's what you pay at the end. No meter, no detours, no extras. If your flight is delayed, we wait at no extra cost.
Do you accept foreign currency (USD, EUR)?
Officially we accept Israeli Shekels (ILS). However, many drivers accept USD or EUR at a reasonable exchange rate — please discuss with the driver in advance. ATMs are available at TLV airport for instant ILS withdrawal.
Do you provide receipts?
Yes. Standard receipt provided by the driver. Need a proper tax invoice (חשבונית) for reimbursement? Tell us when booking — we'll arrange this through our business account.
🚗 Vehicles & Capacity
What types of vehicles do you have?
Sedan (1-3 pax) — Skoda Superb, Hyundai, Mercedes. Station wagon (1-4 + luggage). Large taxi 6-7 — Mercedes Vito, VW Caravelle, Hyundai Staria. Minibus 12-16 — Mercedes Sprinter. VIP — Mercedes E/S Class, Audi A8, premium SUVs.
How much luggage fits in a sedan?
Typically 3-4 standard suitcases + carry-ons. For more luggage or larger items, request a station wagon (same price as sedan in most areas) or a large taxi.
Can you accommodate large items (sports equipment, musical instruments)?
Yes — mention what you're carrying when booking. Surfboards, ski equipment, cellos, etc., usually fit in a station wagon or large vehicle. Larger items may need a specific vehicle type.
Are pets allowed?
Service animals: always welcome, no extra charge. Pets in carriers: allowed, please notify when booking. Larger pets uncarried: case-by-case — depends on driver and vehicle.
✈️ Booking & Timing
How far in advance should I book?
For regular sedan, 2-4 hours is usually fine. For large vehicles or minibus, 24+ hours. For Shabbat, holidays, or peak times (e.g., Sunday morning): 24-48 hours minimum. For Eilat or distant cities: 48+ hours.
Can I book at the last minute?
Often yes — send us a WhatsApp message and we'll check availability within minutes. We can usually arrange pickups within 30-60 minutes in central Israel.
Do you operate on Shabbat and holidays?
Yes — 24/7, including Shabbat and all Jewish holidays. Surcharge: +25%. Drivers are scheduled in advance — booking 24+ hours ahead is highly recommended for these times.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight automatically. If you land late, your driver waits — no extra charge. If you land early, we try to dispatch a driver sooner.
How do I find my driver at the airport?
After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, exit to the main arrivals hall. Your driver will be waiting with a sign displaying your name.
